MEET THE jeweller

Hi, I’m Kirsten, the face behind Kirsten Manzi Jewellery.

My love of working in metal began at university where I studied Jewellery and Metal Design at Duncan of Jordanstone in Dundee. I loved the process of losing myself in a design and was fascinated with taking the seed of an idea and turning something tangible. After graduating, I worked in a jewellery repair workshop honing my skills before setting up Kirsten Manzi Jewellery.

Jewellery is often symbolic of a particular memory, place or person. My graduate collection, Memento, focused on this sentiment and it is still weaved into the collections I make today which are inspired by places symbolic to me. I transform architectural elements into delicate yet structural jewellery pieces with tactile textures and subtle details. Every piece of jewellery is handcrafted by me in my home studio in Dundee, ensuring every detail is beautiful and of the highest quality.

My collections have been showcased across the UK at exhibitions including the prestigious New Designers, The Barbican Lesley Craze Gallery in London and Green Gallery here in Scotland. I also exhibit and sell through a number of Pop-Up events and stockists throughout Scotland. Sign up to my newsletter to hear about upcoming events and exhibitions exhibitions.

When I’m not making jewellery, I run jewellery making workshops and work as a freelance artists and designer, facilitating and delivering creative, design-led workshops within the community in collaboration with other organisations.

If you have a project, commission or collaboration in mind, would like to stock Kirsten Manzi Jewellery, or just fancy a chat, I'd love to hear from you.
